After a long snooze, we headed to Kampala to meet Debbie and Laurence Owango (who will be my second camera assistant) for lunch and to make more lists of things to get before traveling to the field site. Laurence is from the eastern part of Uganda, but now lives in Kampala with his family. He has worked with both stills photographers and videographers. Equally, he knows Kampala well and helped us immensely in shopping for food and camp needs.
