Dr. Goodall Receives an Honorary Degree from Trinity College in Dublin

Last month closed an exciting chapter in Dr. Goodall’s whirlwind year, with a special visit to Dublin. Jane has received numerous awards and honorary degrees, but few people know just how many she has actually earned throughout her career. On December 6, during her trip to Dublin, Jane received her 47th honorary degree from Trinity College. 
Moving into 2014 will prove to be another very exciting year for Jane. Along with her new book, Seeds of Hope: Wisdom and Wonder from the World of Plants coming out this April, she will also celebrate her 80th birthday!
