Giving Thanks to JGI Volunteers

Wednesday, November 24, 2010 - 10:36am

There are so many people all over the world who help the Jane Goodall Institute by volunteering their time or services. Every month, three special friends from Maryland travel to the JGI-USA office in ArlingtonVirginia, to help with whatever task is at hand. They have even supported JGI staffers at many of Jane's lectures and speeches in the area.

This Thanksgiving we wanted to give thanks to all of our volunteers, but particularly Susan, Beth and Betty, or as they are affectionately known, The Baltimore Ladies. Recently, after we gave them their nickname, they surprised us with homemade t-shirts showcasing their special name! Thank you Baltimore Ladies for all you do to help JGI.
