The Jane Photo of the Week

Wednesday, May 5, 2010 - 3:54pm

Every year, members of Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots participate in the International Day of Peace with celebrations around the world each September. Jane often celebrates the occasion in New York City and visits the United Nations headquarters in her role as a United Nations Messenger of Peace.

This past year's celebration was a huge success, with Jane joining Roots & Shoots members in a ferry ride across New York Harbor with sights of the Statue of Liberty. Jane and Mr. H went all out, and were ready to celebrate the occasion!
