Jane Supports Disneynature as Ambassador

Wednesday, April 16, 2014 - 11:27am
I am very proud to serve as a Disneynature Ambassador and to join Disney in speaking up about the importance of protected areas like America’s national parks to preserving the habitats and natural resources all of us need to thrive.

I joined the Disneynature team while they were filming the movie Bears, I witnessed first-hand the beauty of America’s national parks.  Bears portrays the role these parks play in providing food and habitat for the animals that define these majestic landscapes.

At the Jane Goodall Institute, we are promoting the protection of national parks through a youth-led initiative of our Roots & Shoots program.

I congratulate Disneynature on the story told in Bears.  It is an important one.  And I hope you will see Bears and join with us to help preserve protected areas across the globe.
