Sustainable Peace for a Sustainable Future: UN International Day of Peace

Each year, as a United Nations Messenger of Peace, Dr. Goodall participates in the UN's observance of the International Day of Peace including a ceremonial ringing of the UN's Peace Bell and Student Conference. This year's theme, Sustainable Peace for a Sustainable Future was very fitting for Dr. Goodall as the discourse throughout the day focused on the importance of peace with the environment, and how if we ever want to realize peace among nations, we must recognize the need for peace with the natural world.
