On October 1, 2011, Dr. Goodall will give the keynote speech at the Wildlife Conservation Network (WCN) Expo in San Francisco, California. The expo, held every two years, is one of the premiere gatherings of wildlife conservation experts from around the globe.
On May 9, 2011, Dr. Goodall will visit the American School of Warsaw to address students, as well as representatives from other schools.
On May 7, 2011, Dr. Goodall will attend the Planete Doc Film Festival in Warsaw, Poland. Jane’s Journey, a feature-length documentary about Dr. Goodall’s life’s work, will be screened at the festival. Later in the day, Dr. Goodall will be at the Copernicus Science Center for a special conversation about her career and experiences with Martyna Wojciechowska, chief editor of National Geographic Poland.
On June 17, 2011, Dr. Goodall will be a featured speaker at the Happiness and Its Causes conference in Brisbane, Australia. This innovative conference will bring together more than forty big thinkers from around the world, including the Dalai Lama.
Dr. Goodall will be part of a panel discussing the evolution of happiness. The panel will seek to answer questions such as:
On May 6, 2011, Dr. Goodall will visit the International School of Aberdeen in Scotland to address students and representatives from other schools.
Dr. Goodall will be speaking about Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots, the Jane Goodall Institute’s global environmental and humanitarian program for young people from preschool through university. Roots & Shoots now has more than 1,200 participating schools in the United Kingdom and groups in more than 120 countries around the globe.
On May 23, 2011, Dr. Goodall will give a keynote speech open to the public at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
On May 4, 2011, Dr. Goodall will give a keynote speech at the University of St. Andrews. The event, sponsored by ConcoPhillips, is being held in association with the St. Andrews Prize for the Environment and the St. Andrews Sustainability Institute.
On October 5, 2011, Dr. Goodall will give a keynote speech as part of the Yakima Town Hall speakers series.
On May 14 and 15, Jane’s Journey, a feature-length documentary about Dr. Goodall’s life’s work, will be screened three times as part of the 2011 Seattle International Film Festival. Please note that Dr. Goodall will not be present at the screenings.
