GERMANY: Dr. Goodall’s Autumn Tour of Germany
On September 3-5, 2011, Dr. Goodall will visit Germany for a number of events. Highlights of her itinerary include:
September 3: In Hamburg, Dr. Goodall will be named the “Ambassador of the Green Capital of Europe” at a special ceremony attended by local members of Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots and the media. Later that evening, Dr. Goodall will speak about and sign copies of the German edition of her book, Hope for Animals and Their World.
Budapest, HUNGARY: Dr. Goodall at the Giordano Bruno GlobalShift University
On September 9, 2011, Dr. Goodall will participate in a panel discussion at the opening of the Giordano Bruno GlobalShift University. The university, located in Budapest, Hungary, is one of the world’s first global Internet-based institutions of higher learning.
Dr. Goodall will receive an honorary degree along with Deepak Chopra and Nobel Laureate Robert Mundell, among others.
