$75 Chimp Guardian -- LIMITED EDITION

Quick overview:
Save chimpanzees like Sam!

JGI is now offering a special, limited edition chimp guardianship in honor of Tchimpounga’s new arrival, Sam!

Sam is a victim of the illegal pet trade. Authorities found little Sam tied up in someone’s home, suffering from wounds caused by rope digging into his delicate skin. When Sam was brought to Tchimpounga, JGI staff discovered that he was also suffering from an infected bullet wound in his arm. They quickly began to patch him up and treated his various wounds, and now he is on his way to becoming a healthy, happy chimpanzee!

Dr. Goodall Promotes Global Education in Taiwan

During a recent stop in Taiwan, Dr. Goodall read to a young girl named Nadine. As she tours the world, Dr. Goodall constantly encourages young people to take action to improve this planet we call home. The Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) knows this cannot happen without education based on the Institute's experience working with the world's children, particularly young women in Africa. In Tanzania, for example, JGI actively promotes girls' education because it has found that improving literacy rates among women improves the well-being of the communities in which they live.
