Time: 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Three hundred days a year is a lot of time to be on the road and since 1986, that is exactly how Dr. Jane Goodall spends her time. Dr. Goodall’s days are filled with giving lectures, meeting with public officials, spending time with young people involved in Roots & Shoots and encouraging each one of us to make a difference to better our world for people, animals and the environment we all share. Dr. Goodall inspires by doing, by taking action — instead of just talking about what can be done.
The event, attended by more than 400 students and faculty, marks the beginning of collaboration between JGI Taiwan and the university to jointly build a Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots Eco-Center within the campus in the next three years. The center will serve to promote our Roots & Shoots program within the school and the local community. Dr. Jane Goodall will speak to the audience during this visit.
