Jane has received numerous awards and honorary degrees, but few people know just how many she has actually earned throughout her career. On December 6, during her trip to Dublin, Jane received her 47th honorary degree from Trinity College.

A Special Holiday Message from Dr. Jane Goodall

“Now is the season of 'good cheer' when people step back, take a few breaths, and spend time with family and friends.  I have at last arrived back at home in Bournemouth to be with my sister Judy, her daughter Pip, and her grandchildren, 14-year-old Alex and 13-year-old Nickolai. And, of course, the three dogs:  Charlie, Calie Grace and Henry Bean. We will then be joined by my granddaughter Angel with two friends from Tanzania, and Judy's other daughter, Emma, with her two dogs!

Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for 2014 from the Jane Goodall Institute
