A Big ROAR of Thanks

Everyone at the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) would like to say a big ‘thank you!’ to all those who donated to the Jane Goodall Institute during Animal Planet’s R.O.A.R. Campaign! 
 
Thanks to your help, the campaign was a tremendous success.  In only four weeks, we were able to raise over $62,000 through our Tchimpounga Expansion Project on GlobalGiving.org.

2013 Latin America Lecture Tour: Jane Receives Diploma in Argentina

2013 U.S. Fall Lecture Tour: Jane Visits the West Coast

This October, after a short stop in Toronto, Canada, Jane made her way to the San Francisco Bay Area for a number of inspiring events. Her visit began with a lecture to staff at Clif Bar & Company about sustainable food practices and the importance of conservation. Prior to her remarks, Jane met with the company’s founders, Gary Erickson and Kit Crawford, and Kevin Cleary, the company’s chief executive officer, for a tour of the Clif Bar facility.

(Silver Spring, MD) — Beginning Monday, October 14, Animal Planet’s non-profit initiative (NPO), R.O.A.R. (Reach Out. Act. Respond.) launches the third annual matching campaign to raise funds for seven participating R.O.A.R. partners. This year’s focus on “30 Days to R.O.A.R.” again provides partners with the opportunity to receive dollar-for-dollar matching contributions on consumer donations up to $100,000.
