CANADA: Dr. Goodall’s Speech at the Halifax Chamber of Commerce Dinner

Apr 5 2011

5:00-9:30 p.m.

On April 5, 2011, Dr. Goodall will serve as the keynote speaker at the Halifax Chamber of Commerce Spring Dinner.

In her remarks, she will reflect—both personally and professionally—on the meaning of the past five decades, the extraordinary changes the world has seen since 1960 when she began her pioneering research, and the impact these changes have had on people, animals and the environment we all share. In addition, she will discuss the role we must all play over the next 50 years to ensure a better future for generations to come.

Proceeds from the dinner’s silent auction will benefit the Jane Goodall Institute – Canada. This is the first time that Dr. Goodall has traveled to Canada’s East Coast.
