Cleveland, OH: Jane’s Journey Documentary Film Screening

On March 30 and 31, Jane’s Journey, a feature-length documentary about Dr. Goodall’s life’s work, will be featured in two screenings at the 35th Annual Cleveland International Film Festival.

Please note that Dr. Goodall will not be present at this event.

The film, directed by Lorenz Knauer, follows Dr. Goodall on her travels across several continents. From her childhood home in Bournemouth, England, to the shores of Lake Tanganyika at Gombe National Park to lecture halls in the United States, Jane’s Journey offers an unprecedented behind-the-scenes view into Dr. Goodall’s intense and exciting life. The film is an intimate portrait of the private person behind the world-famous icon.

Jane’s Journey is produced by Neos Film and CC Medien in association with Animal Planet/Discovery Communications, Sphinx Media, SWR/arte Cinepostproduction, and Licht & Ton with financial support from FilmFernsehFonds Bayern, Deutscher Filmförderfonds, Filmförderungsanstalt. The film’s world premiere was in Berlin, Germany, in August 2010.
