France: Dr. Goodall’s Gombe 50 Tour of Europe

Dr. Goodall is commemorating Gombe 50, the Jane Goodall Institute’s year-long global 50th anniversary celebration of her pioneering chimpanzee research and inspiring vision for our future, with a tour of Europe this November.

On November 24-26, Dr. Goodall will stop in France for a number of events. Highlights of her itinerary include:

November 24: Dr. Goodall will attend the International Environmental Film Festival in Paris for a special screening of Jane’s Journey. The film, directed by Lorenz Knauer, follows Dr. Goodall on her travels across several continents. From her childhood home in Bournemouth, England, to the shores of Lake Tanganyika at Gombe National Park to lecture halls in the United States, Jane’s Journey offers an unprecedented behind-the-scenes view into Dr. Goodall’s intense and exciting life. The film is an intimate portrait of the private person behind the world-famous icon.

November 25: Dr. Goodall will visit the Jane Goodall Institute-France for private meetings.
