"My Friends, The Wild Chimpanzees" with Dr. Jane Goodall

Feb 20 2013

Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace, will give a public lecture about her time in the wild at the National Geographic Store in London by live, interactive stream with a Q&A session to follow. As part of National Geographic’s wider Cultural Calendar series (launching 1 March 2013), National Geographic Store London will stream Dr. Goodall's talk from inside its Madrid store. World-renowned primatologist and conservationist Dr. Goodall will discuss her experiences during the years she investigated the behaviours of wild chimpanzees, living with them in the wilds of what is today Gombe, Tanzania. Through the Jane Goodall Institute, which she founded in 1977, Dr. Goodall has since worked tirelessly to preserve and protect endangered chimpanzees, improve the lives of people living alongside chimpanzee habitat, and empower the next generation to be better environmental stewards .
