Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL: Dr. Goodall to Host Event at Rio +20 Conference

On June 21, 2012, Dr. Goodall will co-host and speak at a special event with Sir Richard Branson and other world leaders as part of the Rio +20 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The event entitled Advancing Public-Private Partnerships for Deforestation-Free Sustainable, will focus on the current and future efforts of companies, governments and civil society to develop a robust marketplace for products that come from deforestation-free, sustainable agriculture practices. The event will showcase important pathways to slow, halt and reverse deforestation in the context of sustainable development.
