Spain: Dr. Goodall to Attend Seville European Film Festival

Dr. Goodall will attend a special showing of Jane’s Journey, a feature-length documentary about her life’s work, at the Seville European Film Festival.

The film, directed by Lorenz Knauer, follows Dr. Goodall on her travels across several continents. From her childhood home in Bournemouth, England, to the shores of Lake Tanganyika at Gombe National Park to lecture halls in the United States, Jane’s Journey offers an unprecedented behind-the-scenes view into Dr. Goodall’s intense and exciting life. The film is an intimate portrait of the private person behind the world-famous icon.

Jane’s Journey is produced by Neos Film and CC Medien in association with Animal Planet/Discovery Communications, Sphinx Media, SWR/arte Cinepostproduction, and Licht & Ton with financial support from FilmFernsehFonds Bayern, Deutscher Filmförderfonds, Filmförderungsanstalt. The film’s world premiere was in Berlin, Germany, in August 2010. The North American premiere of Jane’s Journey was at the Hamptons International Film Festival in October 2010.
