Warsaw, POLAND: Dr. Goodall Visits the American School of Warsaw
On May 9, 2011, Dr. Goodall will visit the American School of Warsaw to address students, as well as representatives from other schools.
Dr. Goodall will be speaking about Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots, the Jane Goodall Institute’s global environmental and humanitarian program for young people from preschool through university. In February 1991, Dr. Goodall and a group of Tanzanian students started what has become an international movement of young people dedicated to making the world a better place through service-learning projects and youth-led campaigns. Today, Roots & Shoots has grown to nearly 150,000 members in more than 120 countries.
The American School of Warsaw is made up of students from more than 49 different nationalities.
Please note that this is a closed event not open to the general public.
