Golden Eagle Tailfeather was commissioned by Jane as an expression of cooperation and gratitude to all who have helped keep her ‘aloft’ throughout the years. The artist, Matilda Essig, is indebted also to one very patient eagle named O:lo (gold) at the sanctuary in Zuni, NM, for having allowed her to visit.
