3-Pack of Snare Cards
Like turning swords into plowshares, artisans in Uganda are turning brutal bushmeat snares into beautiful art notecards. On average 25-35% of chimpanzees in Uganda are wounded by bushmeat snares. Using confiscated snares removed from the forests in Uganda, a local Roots & Shoots group turns the cruel snare wires into unique decorations for handmade paper notecards. Proceeds from the sale of these products help provide emergency veterinary care for snared chimpanzees and for snare removal programs in Uganda.
