Support Roots & Shoots

Through Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots, the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) is dedicated to cultivating a generation of global citizens. To maintain and build the Roots & Shoots network and our educational programs on the ground, we rely upon the help and support of our members, individual donors, corporations, foundations and other organizations. The ways that we can work together are diverse.

Become A Member

As a member of Roots & Shoots, you will be joining a network of community leaders—young people and adult mentors—who are committed to bettering the environment and improving the quality of life of people and animals. Learn more about what it means to be a part of this global network and get started today.

Make A Donation

Individual gifts to Roots & Shoots ensure that the program continues to thrive and grow. Our donors give because they believe in our mission and the power of youth leadership. They also use donations as an opportunity to celebrate friends and families. Donations make a truly meaningful present—for birthdays, anniversaries and graduations—for people who are interested in conservation, education and youth leadership. Make your donation today!

Corporate/Foundation Support

Many Roots & Shoots initiatives, including our Youth Leadership Council and our Service-Learning Teacher Trainings, are funded by corporations and foundations. With their support, JGI is able to bring Roots & Shoots to more communities, training leaders and educators while collectively impacting the environment, people and animals—around the country and the world.

With a diverse array of programmatic activities, JGI staff members work to align projects with funder goals and objectives. Please contact us if we can provide you with more information or if you would like to discuss funding opportunities.
